Travis Wiebold – Associate

Travis Wiebold is a native of Bellville, Texas. He received his law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2023, his master’s degree in business administration from Texas State University in 2018, and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University in 2011.

After Travis received his master’s degree, he moved to Lubbock to attend law school. In 2021, he began working as a law clerk for Chappell, Lanehart & Stangl, P.C., where he studied and learned the art of criminal defense from Chuck Lanehart and Fred Stangl. As a law clerk, he learned that careful investigation of every case is imperative for success. While Travis attended classes full-time and clerked for Chuck and Fred, he also served as the Vice Chair of Administration for the Board of Barristers.

Travis began his career with the goal of quickly becoming known as a conscientious and honest attorney who prioritizes his clients’ needs while providing diligent legal representation, traits his mentors at Chappell, Lanehart & Stangl exemplify.

He is driven by an earnest belief that every individual is entitled to the best legal defense available, and he takes pride in providing competent, effective representation to his fellow citizens who are being prosecuted by the government. The desire to uphold the principles of the Constitution and defend individuals’ rights and liberty is why Travis began his legal career. Travis’ goal is to be knowledgeable of the facts, articulate in the law and vigorously prepared to reach the best result possible for his clients.

Travis is a current member of the Lubbock Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
