It was a pleasure today to speak to the Hale County Bar Association about my book, “Tragedy and Triumph on the Texas Plains.” I think Plainview only has about a dozen lawyers, but they invited their entire office staffs, and both District Judges showed up with their court staffs. DA Wally Hatch brought about a dozen of his people. Great turnout, great people.
