On Sunday, April 30th at 2:00 pm, Chuck Lanehart will speak at the Friends of the Library general meeting. Located in the Mahon Library Community Room, Lanehart will share stories about his two recent books:

• Marvels of the Texas Plains: Historic Chronicles from the Courthouse to the Caprock

• Tragedy and Triumph on the Texas Plains: Curious Historic Chronicles from Murders to Movies

If you are looking to hear Chuck Lanehart speak as a Lubbock historian and author, attend the meeting which is open to the public. Located in the George & Helen Mahon Public Library, the meeting begins at 2 pm, while Chuck’s presentation will start at 2:30 pm.
