Recent Results for Criminal Attorney Fred Stangl

Fred Stangl shares recent results for his clients. All were first time offenders without any criminal history. Many of these cases could have resulted in serious jail time, fines and a damaged reputation.

Client was stopped for speeding and charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon, Possession of Marijuana and felony Money Laundering.  The State also attempted to forfeit over $10,000 cash, alleging it was contraband.  All charges were dismissed, and over $7,000 was returned to client through an agreed judgment.

Client was charged with operating a gambling establishment. The State of Texas dismissed the case when I sought to obtain the identity of the confidential informant who was involved in the case.  The State also returned over $6,000 of the $8,100 it seized from client.

Client was charged with selling alcohol to an intoxicated person.  According to TABC agents, she sold beer to an intoxicated patron at the bar where she worked as a bartender.  After I pointed out to the State the inadequacies of the investigation and possible destruction of evidence, the case was dismissed.

Many of these cases could have resulted in serious jail time, fines and a damaged reputation. If you find yourself on the wrong side of the law, don’t hesitate to setup an appointment with Fred. Initial consultations are always confidential, private and free.
