Chuck Lanehart’s new Caprock Chronicle honors women for National Woman’s Day.

Lanehart digs through the archives to reveal the first female attorneys in Lubbock. Today about 35% of all lawyers are women. In 1910, only 3 women in Lubbock were practicing law. One of those women was a relative of Daniel Boone.
