Murder Charge Dropped for Client of Fred Stangl

Last week, Stangl helped a client successfully take a plea deal for domestic assault, which allowed other charges to be dropped.

Billy Limbaugh Jr. received five charges in 2014, years after the alleged crime of murdering Monica Adams in 2008. These charges included murder, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping and additional charges.

In an interview, Fred Stangl commented: “There were serious issues with the state being able to prove any of these cases.”

Limbaugh will be sentenced to 8 years for aggravated assault. If convicted of all charges, Limbaugh could have received life.
